Nike...Be Somebody

For my final project of my 2nd year at uni I have shot an advertising campaign for Nike sportswear, I have created 6 billboards with the concept of "Be Somebody".

 

I developed the concept through researching sportswear campaigns and more specifically the Nike brand identity. I discovered that the majority of the Nike campaigns that we see feature high profile sports personalities that are endorced by the brand, this is something that I would obviously not be able to replicate however I wanted my campaign to relate and communicate more with the customer instead referencing the top end of sporting activities.

 

I decided that I would shoot a variety of sports and activities that are popular in the brands product range and although I would use models, I would later remove the models from the clothes in order to make them appear alive. The idea is to engage with the customer and allow them to imagine themselves in the clothes and as the sports personality.
